Pick of the Bunch: Only a limited number of these beautiful art prints by designer Paul Rees have been printed by local company Lamb Peters Print of Greytown. Apple growing has been part of Greytown's history for decades and harvest is always celebrated with a local juice or cider. The romanticised depiction of a Pashley Britannia in Duck Egg Blue as a ladder substitution is not recommended in real life, but the bicycle's basket can definitely hold a perfect number of freshly picked apples fresh from the orchard, on their journey home.
A2 size (42.0 x 59.4cm) and suitable for framing, the print comes with a description of Paul's development as an artist. Pick of the Bunch is one of a series of prints featuring landmark South Wairarapa locations, produced exclusively by Blackwell Press.
