Winnie the Pooh loves honey. Mr Blackwell loves honey. Any extension of the comparison would result in a brief but entertaining set of internet memes, followed by several terminations of employment.
But imagine Mr Blackwell's delight at discovering a family business producing the very highest quality Mānuka, Wildflower, Kamahi, Native and Clover honey, straight from the land, in South Wairarapa!
Native honey is a natural bush blend. Greytown Honey doesn't blend during processing - the honey is exactly as the bees have brought it in. Native honey has a strong bush flavour, without being overpowering. It's less of a creamy honey and will go solid quickly like Manuka Honey.
Greytown Honey has produced Native honey for years, but until recently has sold only in bulk. After success in a local bakery, the team decided to test the public. To date, the response has been amazing and people are loving it. It's a flavour that's here to stay!
Native Honey is packaged in a 350g sustainable glass jar and beautifully presented.
