Mr Kelly inspected this product when it arrived in store and immediately pictured a bladder full of wine inside the barrel, with a length of flexible tubing extending from bladder to eager mouth of rider. We admire his creativity but in no way condone drinking and riding. You're classier than that.
Inspired by St. Bernard brandy barrels, this saddle bag allows you to carry your most vital pocket items, like a phone, wallet and keys, in a convenient location,. The wood ends are lightweight and sturdy, and the waterproof finish keeps everything protected in inclement weather.
FEATURES: Crafted from high-quality American vegetable-tanned leather, hand-stitched with waxed sailmaker's thread, and finished with aromatic and lightweight Pacific Northwest cedar sides for strength and character. Stays shut with a "common sense" hardware closure. The same bag can be used for the handlebars or saddle: simply switch out the belts.
INSTALLATION: Attaches with a long belt that threads through your seat rail or saddle eyelets. Comes with a second optional attachment point with a leather cord to help secure the bag to the stem (the belt-and-suspenders technique). We have tied the optional cord around the seat post or through the springs of a sprung saddle, but it can be used in any way that makes the most sense on your bike. For extra security, you can thread a zip tie through the second string holes.
