Manchester Table Carrot

Each packet contains approximately 1,000 seeds. Store seeds in a cool, dark place.

When to sow: Spring, summer and autumn.
Where to grow: Well-drained site in full sun.
How to sow: Plant seeds thinly, 2cm deep, in rows 30cm apart.
Care: Keep seedbed evenly moist during germination period. Frost will affect foliage, but not roots. Thin twice – first when leaves appear (thin to 2cm apart) then after another 2-3 weeks (thin to 5cm apart).
Ready to eat: Usually after 90 to 120 days.
Tips: Vary the position of your sowing with each crop, as a precaution against pests and diseases. Prevent Carrot Rust Fly using Diazinon.
