Pahikara is te reo for bicycle. And Aotearoa is tino pai for cycling. Embrace the language, and the land, kiwis!
Blackwell and Sons is stoked to launch a new range of exclusive tee shirts for summer that celebrates the Pahikara in a uniquely kiwi way. Sir Kim Workman gifted us this name and, like many other Māori words we use in everyday conversations today, we plan to make Pahikara a commonly understood and spoken word to interchange with bicycle.
A donation to Greytown’s local Papawai marae will be made from every sale of a Pahikara tee shirt.
100% cotton.
Someone sent their tee shirt back to us with - gasp - a hair on it. It was hard to say where the hair came from. Michelle fainted. Trish had to go home and have the next day off. It was the wrong size for the wearer because they forgot to check the size chart below. The trauma of exchange was just too much for our little business to endure. So, to protect everyone’s health, safety and tolerance for ickyness, choose your tee shirt carefully because we cannot exchange it for a different size. Thank you.
