NEW for Christmas 2024, Billy the book-reading Blackwell Bear has got his reading glasses on and his all-new paperback picture book, Poor Wee Ted, written by Adam Blackwell and illustrated by Paul Rees. Billy is soft and fluffy and comes with his own set of reading glasses. He is fully posable and sits upright so he can get some serious reading in before nap time. He comes in his own cotton travel sack which can also be worn as a backpack and because he likes to always look sharp, Billy wears his Bookshop Green Ribbon, everywhere he goes.

Billy the Blackwell Bear is the first limited edition collectable created specially for Mrs Blackwell’s Village Bookshop and Blackwell and Sons, and he’s suitable for booklovers aged 8 and older.
